Zee TV’s upcoming channel & (and) has some great lineup of shows.

One of the projects is Swastik Productions’ historical show Razia Sultan.

The story will narrate the about the life of the first woman ruler of India, which will highlight the contemporary outlook that prevailed way back in the 13th century.

Tellychakkar.com has kept our readers updated about the cast for the project which include Behzaad Khan, Pankhuri Awasthi, Rohit Purohit, Ankit Arora and Sambhavna Seth.

Another big name who has been roped in is senior actor Seema Kapoor, (Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai) who will be seen playing grandmother of Razia…named Shamshad Begum. And Sooraj Thapar will portray (Bani – Ishq Da Kalma) Razia’s father.

When contacted Seema, she shared, “Yes, I am playing a very important role in the show who happens to be very strict and likes to live a disciplined life. Siddharth (producer of Swastik) is equally involved in the show and I am excited to work with him.”
