With the 11th season of India’s biggest singing reality show hitting your television screens soon, Indian Idol is back with bigger and better talent! Breaking all stereo types and celebrating diversity in true season, the theme for this season, “Ek Desh Ek Awaaz”, celebrates music in true sense. The path breaking talent on the Indian Idol platform this season is already making a way through the judge’s hearts and one of them is Adriz Ghosh from Kolkata.
A contestant who came all the way from the heartland of creativity, Bengal, had auditioned for Indian Idol in season 10 as well. But fate had other plans for him. During the final round of auditions last season, Salman Ali (winner of Indian Idol season 10), forgot his phone and started panicking that he will not be able to practice. That’s when Adriz came to his rescue and handed over his phone to Salman because of which he entered the top 12 of Indian Idol. Though he wasn’t selected last season, but he did not lose hope, and auditioned this year as well. He continues to work towards his aim of becoming the next singing sensation of our nation.
Vishal Dadlani, who was impressed by his voice, said, “Adriz’s melodious voice has full potential of giving all the contestants of Indian Idol a very tough competition.” Even Neha and Anu Malik found his voice very scintillating and believes he has the potential to up the game this season.
