Soumya Seth's jewellery worth Rs five lakhs flicked from the sets of Khoobsurat

Soumya Seth
Theft alert!!! Someone is not happy at this hour. And the reaction is obvious for how would one emote after losing diamond jewellery worth Rs five lakhs. This is what we are getting at… Actress Soumya Seth, currently seen in Sony TV’s Khoobsurat, loves wearing diamond jewellery and often carries them on the sets of the above show. However, her character, Aaradhya, cannot wear the jewellery as per the storyline, hence she wears them off shoot. Before facing the camera, she removes the jewellery and keeps them safely in a pouch on her dressing table. But on an unfortunate day (three-four days ago), she lost her diamond solitaire earring worth Rs five lakhs. Narrates Soumya: “As usual, I removed my earrings and kept them in a small pouch. This small pouch I keep inside a bigger bag. But on that ill-fated day when I got back, I saw them missing.” Does this mean someone from the sets flicked it? “I suppose so, but I am not sure who did it. But in spite of this, I will continue trusting people on the sets especially the ones who do my make-up and hair,” replies the actress. So, has she stopped wearing expensive jewellery on the sets now? “No, the incident hasn’t changed me a bit. I do feel bad about not having the earrings with me anymore, but then I love wearing jewellery and that’s not changing,” assets…oops asserts the actress. The actress did not lodge a police complaint to avoid any kind of inconvenience on the sets, as she states, “I know the earrings aren’t coming back. So, it does not really make any sense on my part to put everyone through an interrogative session.” Well Soumya, just be a little more careful the next time.
