MUMBAI: ALT Balaji’s upcoming gangster drama The Family is keeping everyone edged. The multi-starrer comprises of stellar names like Vivek Oberoi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Ravi Kissen and Raid fame Gayatri Iyer to name a few. TellyChakkar had earlier reported about a few of the names that have been roped in for the series.

Now, TellyChakkar has the latest updates from the crime-drama. The latest entrant in the project is South Indian actress Sidhika Sharma. Remember the blockbuster South Indian flick Arya starring Allu Arjun? Sidhika made her debut with that film and became a part of the fans’ adulation. The actress has now become a popular name in the South Indian film industry.

The actress, last seen in the blockbuster Arjun Reddy, is all set to debut in the Hindi entertainment space. The pretty lady has signed ALT Balaji’s ambitious project. As per our exclusive information, Sharma will play Rithvik Dhanjani’s sister in the narrative of the story. Her character will basically change the game.

She has already begun shooting for the show. We couldn’t get in touch with Sharma to get her confirmation.

Tanuj Virwani and Kubra Sait have also signed the original which is said to be inspired by the iconic The Godfather series.
