Star Plus' Music Ka Maha Muqqabla had its participants and audience awestruck when Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar arrived on the sets to promote their new film.

The match was between Himesh Reshammiya's and Shreya Ghoshal's teams, which the latter lost. Both the teams sang popular numbers from SRK's films. Where King Khan went on to support Himesh's warriors, best friend Karan Johar stood by Shreya's superstars.

Says an onlooker, "SRK's presence was enough to set the mood right; and boost the morale of the contestants. Co-incidentally, it was contestant Vineet Singh's birthday on the same day the superstar shot for the episode. He impressed all and sundry with his flawless rendition of Ishq kameena (Shakti) which had Shah Rukh dancing. Vineet later asked SRK for a birthday present and the superstar obliged him by gifting him his watch. Vineet was overwhelmed. Rehman's (Shreya's superstars) Teeja tera rang tha from Chak De left everyone present on the sets spellbound. He was even adjudged as the performer of the evening."

"The primary tussle between the two teams was to convince Shah Rukh Khan to support their respective teams to which SRK Khan finally decided to support Himesh, who was three points ahead of Shreya. SRK jokingly said that he will support Himesh as they are leading and since his team Kolkata Knight Riders had always lost in the IPL, he would want to side with the winning team for a change," adds our source.

The episode which has SRK and Karan Johar promoting their forthcoming film My Name is Khan will be aired tomorrow, Saturday at 9 pm on Star Plus.
