MUMBAI: One of the well-known actors from television world, Ssharad Malhotra is known for myriad soaps. With his screen presence and charming looks, he has mesmerised the audience.

The actor started his career with India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. Later he was seen in soaps like Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

Talking about his passion, Ssharad has found a new love, and it is music. Yes, these days, music is keeping him occupied during his free time.

Speaking about his new found love, he said to a leading publication, “I have always been fascinated by music, especially the drums and guitar. I bought a set of drums years ago, but unfortunately, could not pursue it. However, I was adamant on learning the guitar and my perseverance has paid off. It was on a lark that I bought a sexy black guitar while sauntering into a music store, a few years ago. Whenever I lay my hands on it, I am transported into a beautiful world. Music calms me down and relaxes me. It has made me a better person. I have become compassionate towards people, because I believe that when anyone plays music, he/she spreads happiness.”

When he was asked how he manages to take out time from his hectic work schedule, he said that like many others, he too makes time for what he is passionate about. He said that he carries his guitar on set everyday and plays in between short breaks. The good part is Ssharad has found a teacher who trains him according to his schedule.

“I have been learning it for four months and gradually, I will take some singing lessons as well,” he further shared with the daily.
