Well it’s raining stars on Nach Baliye 6 (Frames Productions), though not literally. And with popular stars of Star Plus Sooraj- Sandhya, Jigar-Raashi and Akash-Poonam joining in, the stage is set to go ablaze! Yes, these couples recently shot for the weekend episode to add a lot of more masala to this entertaining show. The actors Anas Rashid-Deepika Singh (Diya Aur Baati Hum), Vishal Singh-Rucha Hasabnis (Saath Nibhana Saathiya) and Rahul Sharma-Ishita Dutta (Ek Ghar Banaunga) will be seen performing on the stage as part of a special Star Parivar’s act on the Nach stage. Sharing his experience, Vishal quipped, “It was such an amazing experience. We performed to ‘Radha teri chunri’ from Student of The Year and it was really fun. The makers had brought in the reel couple as competitors to the real couples and I must say they are like way ahead. We were not even 5 per cent compared to their standards (smiles).” Asked about the concept of couples performing together, Vishal blushingly said, “It actually makes me crave to try for a complete season next year if I manage to get a baliye (winks). Seriously, the show is just mind blowing and I would really love doing the show. And yes, my favourite couple this season is Gurmeet and Debina and they are doing a fabulous job; they are just too talented.” On the other hand, Rahul commented, “I also got to celebrate my birthday while rehearsing for my performance. And about being on the show, I must say it was a superb experience. The amount of energy and preparation that all the contestants put in is indeed worth applauding. Also the judges were really sweet and we had fun interacting with them after the performance. Hopefully, I manage to hook up with a girl so that I can take part in the show next year (winks). Me and Ishita performed along with Vishal and Rucha.” Apart from these two beautiful on-screen jodis, Anas and Deepika also grooved to a romantic number. Averred the beautiful girl, “It was an honour for us to be on the Nach stage along with such talented people. Just sitting there as an audience and getting a chance to see the performances live was a delightful experience. For me, all of them have potential of winning the show but I simply loved the performance of Gurmeet and Debina; it was just unbelievable.” Deepika also got to perform a stunt with Gurmeet, to which she observed, “I have learnt karate, so it didn’t let me down (laughs). Gurmeet was really sweet to help me out with the stunt and now that I will be starting my IPS training on the show, I think I will be doing a lot of such stunts.” This particular episode will be aired this weekend.
