Loyal fans of Star Plus’ Ek Hasina Thi have been glued to the methodical approach of the protagonist Durga Thakur (Sanjeeda Sheikh) in avenging the rich and wealthy Shaurya Goenka (Vatsal Seth). With the entry of Dev Goenka (Bhuvnesh Mann) into the thick of things, the story will now tilt to the past, wherein one would be enthralled with some light-hearted sequences for a change.
Yes, the story will now focus on the back-story and will depict the cute bonding and friendship that prevailed between Dev and Nitya Mitra, essayed by Aditi Sajwan. The story will now trace the life of Nitya, the earlier version of Durga, who went through all the torture at the hands of Shaurya.
A source states, “Moving away from the intense sequences, there will be some lighter moments seen in the upcoming episodes. Dev’s other side will be seen which will appeal to the viewers. In the same way, Nitya’s fun-filled attitude and her great bond of friendship with her best friend will be depicted well. Scenes where the two best of friends chat over a cup of coffee, celebrate each other’s birthdays, and various other montages will be shown. Their growing-up days, the bonding that Dev shares with Nitya and also her sister will be shown.”
When contacted, Aditi told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, Nitya has been shown in short flashback sequences earlier. But now my real track opens up wherein Nitya and Dev’s special bonding, their friendship will be shown. There will be some enjoyable sequences showcasing their great friendship.”
Bhuvnesh Mann also stated, “Yes, Dev who has been shown to be a very intense guy was something else earlier. He had a very funny side to himself, and used to be very different when in the company of his best friend Nitya. Some strikingly different scenes will be shown which will take the story telling to a newer level.”
