KOLKATA: Film and television personality Sudiptaa Chakraborty finally stepped into the digital world with Hoichoi’s new web series Do Not Disturb.
Sudiptaa is a well-known actress in Bengal and has earned appreciation for her acting in films like Bariwali and Bunohaans. She is a pivotal part of the ongoing tele-series Bhoomikanya.
So, what motivated her to make her digital debut with Do Not Disturb?
Sudiptaa said in a statement to TellyChakkar, ‘Nothing as such. I like Arkav's way of working.’
‘I played a cameo just to keep his request,’ added the actress who recently bagged the Honorable Jury Mention Award at the All Lights International Film Festival in Hyderabad for her work in the Bengali film Uronchondi.
Do Not Disturb is like an anthropology, with each episode comprising of a different story by a different director. The story that features Sudiptaa is called Kalidas. Arkava Banerjee has directed this story, and it also stars Anindya Banerjee.
