MUMBAI: Sukirti Kandpal, who is a popular face in the television industry, is currently playing the role of Alia Shroff in Sony Entertainment Television's popular show Story 9 Months Ki. The show offers an endearing narrative about 'choice motherhood through IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). Being the protagonist of the show, Sukirti as Alia represents today's girl, who has not only planned all things in her life but also executed them and is a successful businesswoman at the age of 30.
In the show, she is independent & strong willed and wants to achieve everything on her own without asking for anyone's help. Having a failed marriage, she decides to become a mother and believes she can raise a child all by herself. Therefore, she opts for IVF and is looking for a suitable donor who unknowingly is Sarangdhar, essayed by Aashay Mishra.
Since Alia Shroff is an urbane and highly educated woman, her personality is reflected through her style quotient. Her style mantra is uber chic, formal and prim. Talking about the same, Sukirti shares, "Alia Shroff, an emotionally guarded, urbane, successful, cut-throat businesswoman who lets her head rule over her heart most of the time, is also known for her chic style statements. Her fashion is minimalistic and effortless."
Adding to this, she said, "While trying out different looks for the character, I put forward multiple inputs for the overall look of my on-screen character. Along with the costume designer, I do give my suggestions and creative inputs in putting together Alia's wardrobe. And I am glad the team is forthcoming in taking suggestions and incorporate my ideas, too."
