MUMBAI: Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan has been in the news ever since it returned to Doordarshan amid the lockdown. It is not just a show but it’s an emotion which every Indian feels deeply even after watching it several times.  

Sunil Lahri who played Laxman in the show is the current heartthrob of the nation. He has also been declared as the national crush. The actor has been constantly giving interviews and fans want to know every single detail about this amazing star.  

Sunil has been sharing lots of amazing memories from his Ramayan days. The actor, who got a privilege to work with some of the greatest stars of that time, was all praises for one of the actresses and it was none other than Lalita Pawar.

Lalita Pawar played the role of Mathra in the show and Sunil was completely impressed by her professionalism.  

Describing one incident, Sunil revealed how Lalita showed thorough professionalism and continued to do a scene even after her feet were burning while she was shooting a scene where she had to push the diyas in anger.  

Sunil reveals that she was such a terrific actress and made sure to give a perfect take even after facing so many issues.
