Writer cum director Deepak Pachory’s maiden fiction show as Producer, on the life of the ace freedom fighter Chandrashekar Azaad will be the next big show on the Star network.

As per a reliable source, Sunny who essayed the role of Rishabh Amarnath Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has been roped in to play the well-educated and smart young freedom fighter Vijay Kumar Sinha.

For the uninitiated, Vijay Kumar Sinha was a youngster in the team of Chandrashekar Azaad, who was predominantly a writer and a poet who joined the freedom movement.       

Nikunj, who has done movies like Traffic Signal, Chance Pe Dance, Hattrick will play the role of Shivaram Rajguru, the revolutionary from Maharashtra. Rajguru joined Azaad and his movement along with freedom fighters, Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev.

A reliable source tells us, “Deepak Pachory has started working with his team of actors on the show, by conducting workshops for them. The shoot of the show will start very soon, with the first outdoor schedule to happen in Bhopal, wherein the grand introductory fight sequence with Chandrashekar Azaad will be shot.”

Deepak Pachory will be producing this show under the banner 6 Dimensions Creations Pvt. Ltd. Earlier, there were talks of the show getting slotted on Life OK. However, the recent developments suggest that this show based on the great Indian Heroes will be launched on Star Plus.

We tried calling Nikunj and Sunny, but both remained unavailable.
