Channel V’s (4 Lion Films) is here to stay. It was earlier reported in the media that team Suvreen will shoot its last episode on 15 November 2013. However, the latest is that its lead Smriti Kalra has decided to quit the show. But the good news for the serial’s admirer is that it will continue entertaining the fans. “Suvreen is one of the highest TVT gainers on Channel V hence, it’s going nowhere,” said our source. However the face of the show Smriti better known as Suvreen is moving out as she tells us, “My character wasn’t shaping up in the show plus I wasn’t learning anything so I decided to quit. I will be shooting till mid-November.” Does this mean the character of Suvreen will see a new face? “We aren’t sure whether to continue with the second season or come with the third one. But, we are majorly looking at the third season. And with the next season coming in the picture you might get to see some new faces,” said the source. On this the actress said, “I do not know about the third season but yes, the show is not coming to an end. Only I am moving out of it as I had reached a saturation point.” So what’s next for the lady? “I am open to something nice. I wouldn’t mind playing a grey shade or a negative character if it’s interesting. And you never know, I might just take up anything interesting that comes my way. It need not be an acting offer, it could be anything.” We also tried contacting Producer Nissar Parvez but he remained unavailable for comment.
