MUMBAI: TellyChakkar earlier reported about Mrinal Singh entering Star Plus’ popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Major drama is in store for viewers in the upcoming track.

Mrinal’s character is a standup comedian and Kartik’s best friend, who now stays abroad. Suwarna (Parul Chauhan) brings her back in the country to help Kartik (Mohsin Khan) in his critical condition. While he is struggling to get over Naira (Shivangi Joshi), Suwarna hopes that Mrinal’s character will be of help.

Mrinal’s character will try to play cupid between the two. However, if sources are to be believed, she eventually falls in love with Kartik.
