Suzanne Bernert might be a known name in the theatre and small screen circuit, but the role which made her achieve super success, is as queen Helena (Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat).

Though she plays a cunning, evil woman on screen, she is a soft hearted, romantic soul in real life.

And when we had the chance of interacting with Suzanne, we asked her about her unheard love story with hubby Akhil Mishra (Uttaran). And the lady was more than happy to share her story with us. "Soon after coming to India, I was looking out for some good roles and was trying my hands in theatres. During that time, I was doing a daily Astitva Ek Prem Kahani, where I met actor Varun Badola, who recommended me for a role. For the same, I was asked to meet Akhil, who was supposed to brief me about my character".

"And we met at a coffee shop for the first time, and I could instantly feel that we have some connection. Then, we became close friends, but took some time to realize that our bond was more than just friendship. And when we finally declared our love for each other, everyone, including my mother, said that they had suspected about it much before we understood,” added Suzanne.

Aha, doesn't that sound filmy?

Well, the dramatic love story doesn't end here.

"I remember every single details about our first date, and even our first kiss. We had kissed in an auto in quite a filmy manner. At that time, we were indeed entertaining", concluded the pretty actress.
