Mythological drama has definitely seen a boon with channels experimenting with a lot of shows on the same lines.

Swastik Productions known for its mytho-drama Mahabharat and Karna will now present the tales of the naughty Lord ‘kid’ Krishna.

Titled Baal Krishna, the series will be launched next month and will have the cute Jaival Pathak playing the lead role. Rookie actor Suman Gupta will enact Yashoda’s character while talented Nimai Bali will play Kansa.

Shared a source, “Baal Krishna will delve into the observations and divine life of Lord Krishna’s childhood, from his perspective.”

Viewers will get a chance to witness Lord Krishna’s journey starting from his natkhat childhood, and will be subjected to bouts of logical reasoning behind why he did what he did.

From picking up the Govardhan Parvat to Killing Putna, Lord Krishna’s narrations will offer a whole new perspective by touching upon various known and lesser known stories from his life.

We tried reaching producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary but could not connect with him.

Baal Krishna will launch from 14 March, 6:30 pm.
