MUMBAI: The very famous daily soap is based on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, a Hindi sitcom based on the weekly column "Duniya Ne Undha Chasma" by Taarak Mehta in Chitralekha magazine. It is produced by Asit Kumarr Modi. It is broadcast on Sony. 

Asit Modi - Asit Kumar Modi (born 24 December 1966), is an Indian TV actor, producer, director and founder of Neela Tele Films Private Limited. He is known for producing the serials Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, SAB Khelo SAB Jeeto!, Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai!, Krishnaben Khakhrawala, Pyaar Mein Twist, Meri Biwi Wonderful,Yeh Duniya Hai Rangeenand Hum Sab Ek Hai.

Modi and his team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were among the first nine citizens of India to be nominated by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote his Clean India Campaign.

The whole fus began when Asit Modi replied to the fans on Twitter. The show has a major major big fan following all across the globe. Tarak Mehta has reached its peak and still to be continued. It is amongst all one of the top-running shows. Tarak Mehta is a serial that went on for years and still makes people excited as they were for the first episode. The TMKOC creators are planning to do something big for all the fans out there. People will go mad after hearing this news. The fans requested TMKOC to launch a movie.

Considering this, using Twitter medium the fan posted, " Please make a movie on Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma. It is the best show in the world; please make a movie and create a history.” The fan also assured the producer that the movie would be a super-duper hit.

On giving a request on social media and Asit Modi replying for the same mention- " YES ". This yes made the crowd go bonkers , and excitement was overloaded. He made people think in a curious way to the max. What all can we imagine? Imagine watching the madness of Gokuldham society, the cuteness of Jethalal, the hotness of Babita Ji and much more on the silver screen. It would be a complete family entertainer, isn’t it? Just reading about it makes us feel quite excited.

If a movie is made on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, this will not be the first show converted into a film.

 In the past few years, shows like Office Office and Khichdi have also been converted into a movie. But, both of them did not fare well at the box office and did not receive the kinda love they did as a show.
