Veteran actress Tanima Sen says that she is concerned for the youngsters as they are going to have a tough time!

“I am really worried for the youngsters this Durga puja. This year if they go with someone (girlfriend/boyfriend) secretly, they are going to have a tough time as chances of getting caught are pretty high,” Tanima said wittily.

The actress said this in reference to Zee Bangla’s initiative ‘Mayer Chokhe Pujo’.

As per the initiative, a 360 degree camera has been installed above the idol at Maddox Square to capture everything ranging from the people’s excitement while watching Goddess Durga to phuchka eating sessions, to gossips to love affairs to someone’s effort of wooing someone.

For the uninitiated, Maddox Square hosts one of the popular Durga Pujas in the city of joy, Kolkata.

The ‘captured moments’ then will be posted as videos on the Facebook page of Zee Bangla.

Tanima also added that she never thought this way that Maa too can keep a tab on everything.

She expressed funnily, “We always ask the Goddess to ‘look’ at us but this time she is really going to look at us. I never thought that Maa will actually see us this way.”

Actress Saayoni Ghosh thinks that ‘Mayer Chokhe Pujo’ is an ideal initiative to monitor everything and stop people from doing wrong things.

She observed, “During the occasion, many things take place. Good things are fine but certain things turn serious and cause problem. The safety of women as well as men is also an issue. So, everything will be monitored now which is a good thing. I am appreciating this initiative.”

“In fact, many documentaries can be made out of this. I think it’s going to be pretty cool,” she added.

Actress Sudipta Chakraborty has a different take on the initiative.

She said, “It’s a very interesting concept. All those Bengalis who stay out of India will get a real feel of puja because of the videos.”

“Whenever we want we can go to the pandals but they can’t. So, this will be a gift to them,” she signed off.

Interesting concept! Isn’t it readers?
