MUMBAI: Team Hatsoff productions organised a webinar on 15th May to discuss the intricacies of Film Making and Journalism in India. The panel consisted of Nalin Singh - Actor / Director Gnadhi to Hitler, Puja Banerjee – Editorial Consultant  - Millennium Post and Parul Srivastava - Journalist - One world.

The initiative proved to be a great success with participation of more than fifty students from various renowned colleges like NRAI Institute of Mass Communicatin, Doon Business School, JIMS, Modern Girls' Degree College of Professional Studies and Lovely Professional University.

The students were very enthusiastic and came up with really great questions. Nalin Singh gave guidance on flimmaking and video editing. He also shed some light on the problems of piracy and how to deal with it. Answering one of the questions on piracy he said, "Since it's not feasible to have a lawyer at such an early stage, so students can demand copyright from the production houses rather then patenting their script."

Puja Banerjee guided the students on the importance of newspaper reading and forming a news sense. Parul Srivastava also gave core knowledge about online media in India, on how important is to be updated and well researched about news for an Anchor.

We at Team Hatsoff productions hope that this discussion proved to be very informative and useful for the budding film makers and journalists who are seriously looking forward to spread a message and make their name in this field. We hope more students will take Film Making and Journalism as a career option and work to bring out some great work in the field of Media and Entertainment.

Our team is always ready to help those who would like to learn and do good and honest work in this field. We would be conducting more such webinars and looking forward to your enthusiastic participation.
