Television actresses who married the directors of their shows

Popular faces of television fell in love with their show's directors and went on to marry them.

MUMBAI: We have often seen celebs falling in love with their co-stars while working in various projects. The telly world has witnessed many such pairs like Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee, Shoaib Malik and Dipika Kakar, Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, and Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan, among others. 

However, there are many actresses who fell in love with the respective director of their shows and went on to marry them.

Here's a list of such TV actresses.

1. Priya Ahuja and Malav Rajda 

She is popularly known as Rita Reporter from SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. The actress and Malav, who is the show's chief director, fell in love on the sets and got married on 19th November 2019. 

2. Manasi Salvi and Hemant R Prabhu 

Popular TV actress Manasi got married to the director of the daily soap Sati. The duo worked together on the sets, fell in love, and got married. 

3. Jyotsana Chandola and Nitesh Singh 

Jyotsana, who was seen in Sasural Simar Ka, got married to the director of the same show, Nitesh. The couple tied the knot on 21st April 2015.

4. Deepika Singh and Rohit Goyal

Popular TV actress Deepika Singh exchanged wedding vows with her show Diya Aur Baati Hum's director Rohit Goyal. The duo fell in love while working together and got married.
