Added Asha Janardhan, Co Chair Women Empowerment, “This project has been undertaken keeping in perspective the current scenario where crime against women has become rampant. Rotary District 3140 in association with Action Breaks Silence would be conducting five workshops in Mumbai. Action Breaks Silence, founded by UK- based Debi Stevens, is a not for profit company working to help underprivileged girls and women. These workshops will be led by a highly trained team of men and women from UK, assisted by self- defense instructors from various parts of India. It is a world class training programme.” Fair enough!!! Now, charming and talented actress Prerna Wanvari (Bandini, Parichay, Adaalat) also lent her support to give wings to the cause.
