Terence Lewis touches contestant Pratiti Das and Shweta Warrier’s feet on Super Dancer – Chapter 4… find out why!

MUMBAI: Goosebumps, tears, and fandom. Celebrity choreographer Terence Lewis, one of the judges on Sony Entertainment Television's Super Dancer - Chapter 4, experienced it all when he witnessed a stupendous Mohiniyattam performance by contestant Pratiti Das and her super guru Shweta Warrier in this weekend’s Bollywood Queens special episode on Super Dancer – Chapter 4.

The guru-shishya duo performed the graceful classical dance form from Kerala as a tribute to Hindi cinema's evergreen beauty Waheeda Rahman on the song, "Piya tose naina laage" from the film "Guide".

Dressed in authentic costumes, Pratiti and Shweta left the judges spell-bound by their flow, form and aesthetically beautiful performance, so much so that Terence went on the stage to click a selfie with the little wonder Pratiti Das from Howrah, West Bengal.

When Pratiti went ahead and touched his feet, he said, "Ye pratha ab change karni padegi", and bowed down to touch Pratiti and Shweta's feet. "I am a fan," he told them and called the performance "unreal".

Malaika Arora, who gave Pratiti a 'seedhi' ovation, also praised Shweta for being a "brilliant teacher". She urged the 'guru' to continue sharing her skill with people always.

Choreographer and judge Geeta Kapur also lauded Shweta for what she felt was one of her "finest choreography pieces". "To say ati-uttam is to say less. It was an unbelievable, fantastic performance," Geeta told Pratiti and Shweta.

Malaika also made a special mention of Pratiti's mother, who is the real 'guru' of the little dancer, and noted the pride in her eyes. She also asked Pratiti if her mother was strict. And it charged up Pratiti to share, "Ab mummy 50 percent theek ho gayi hain. Thodi strict hain... But mummy ne dance mein thoda tokna chhod diya hai because Shweta Didi is my guru. But baaki cheezon mein bolti hain kabhi kabhi... aise nahin baithte, awaaz kam karo."

Malaika then quipped how all mummies are the same, including herself! "I keep telling my 18-year-old son to go brush, to do things on time, to eat on time, go to the gym, drink enough water, get enough sleep... It begins right from the morning," Malaika said while sharing her own story of being a nagging mom.

Tune in to watch the Bollywood Queens episode of Super Dancer - Chapter 4 this Saturday & Sunday at 8.00 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television
