Good looking and stunning Thakur Anoop Singh , who gained fame via his impressive portrayal of Dhritarashtra in Star Plus’ Mahabharat, has gone on to bag two shows.

First, he is back in the show Akbar Birbal (Big Magic and Sagar Pictures). He has featured in the serial earlier and now in the coming episodes he will be seen in the role of Mulla Do Piaza.

Today, as per sources, he would be shooting for the promo. The character of Mulla Do Piaza would be intelligent, practical and will compete with Birbal.

Anoop’s entry in Akbar Birbal will air on 9 January.

Secondly, the brawny actor has also signed Zee TV’s Maharakshak Aaryan (Somersault).

In this superhero project he will play the negative role of Kaal, and he would have a look similar to X Men figure Wolverine. He will be part of the one-hour movie special which will air on 10 January. 

Confirming the development, Anoop said: “Talking about Akbar Birbal, it’s a surprise for the audience. In Maharakshak, I will be seen in an interesting avatar. Both the shows have different genres and provide me the platform to excel as an actor.”
