Seems like all crime based shows on Sony Entertainment Television are resorting to strange concepts to gain eyeballs. After we reported earlier about CID solving the case of a strange insect, it’s time for the successful lawyer KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) to solve an interesting case in Adaalat (Contiloe Telefilms) where the murderer will be a plant. Confused? Well, here we go… A professor will be arrested on grounds of his assistant’s murder. The science professor, who was carrying out some experiments on trees, will make the plant carnivorous- a dangerous human eater. A source adds, “The professor will deny the murder even though there will be proofs and evidences that the plant was the cause of the death of the assistant.” KD will take up this case as he will be of the belief that a plant can never kill a human being. He will thus try finding solutions to prove the man’s innocence. The case will become more difficult when the plant will start dying as the doctors will not take its proper care. With the plant almost gone, how will KD find the actual murderer? We called up Ronit but he remained unavailable for comment.
