The spooky show Bhoot Aaya (Cintek Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television will present a true tale of an old tradition of mangalik in this weekend’s episode. Being a mangalik not only means having an ill fate attached to them, but mystery and supernatural interference in one’s life.

The tale will involve a girl who will fall in love with a rich Punjabi boy and as per their ancient tradition, prior to their marriage, their kundalis will be matched. And as bad luck would have it, her kundali will have some mangalik dosh in it.

When they will consult a priest, he will inform that if the man marries a mangalik girl he will be deemed to encounter an early death. In order to evade the ill effects, they will decide that the girl will need to marry a Peepal tree before she can marry the guy.

But as soon as the marriage will happen with the tree, the girl will be unlocked to the door of terrors. She will be accidently married to a tree in which will reside a spirit of a male ghost. And now claiming the girl to be his wife, the spirit will be hell bent to take her away.

After the girl’s marriage with the Peepal Tree, inexplicable events will start occurring in her love life. Small but strange hindrances will start happening from her marriage preparations and arrangements. After a course of time the ghost will finally reveal and declare the girl as his rightful wife and will claim to kill anyone who will take the girl away from him.

So will he be able to succeed in taking the girl? How will she manage to survive?
