MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya is one of the most successful shows on television and has topped the TRP charts since it has hit the screens.

The leads of the show, Shabir and Sriti, are loved as the the on-screen couple, and there is no doubt that the actors have a massive fan following and their characters have become household names.

The audience is also loving the new-generation pair of Prachi and Ranbir.

The role of Ranbir is loved by them, and they like to watch the romance between Ranbir and Prachi.

But before signing Krishna Kaul for the role, the makers had offered the role to a few other actors who refused.

1. Parth Samthaan

Parth was offered the role of Ranbir, but he refused it as he was busy shooting for Kasautii Zindagi Kay and couldn’t handle two shows together.

2. Pearl Puri

Pearl refused the show as he had already signed Bepanah Pyaar and didn’t have dates to juggle between two shows.

3. Harshad Chopda

Harshad refused the offer as he wanted to stay away from television for some time and was on a break.

4. Zain Imam

The makers wanted Zain to play the role of Ranbir, but he couldn’t take up the offer as he was busy with his other projects.

5. Arjun Bijlani

Arjun couldn’t accept the offer, as he has some date issues, and owing to that, he had to let go of the project.

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Krishna Kaul, and fans feel he is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Ranbir the way he did.

Fans have also said that today Ranbir and Prachi's chemistry is unmatchable.

No doubt that it’s a big loss for these actors, and they missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
