MUMBAI : TellyChakkar.com broke the news of Zee TV show Hamari Bahu Silk cast and crew facing severe non-payment issues since the entire tenure of the show. The distressed cast and crew opined that they may resort to ending their lives, if their payments are not made. The news got viral and a lot of celebrities supported the cast and crew of the show and called out to the producers Devyani Rale- Sudhanshu Pandey (Klay Pictures) and Jyoti Gupta (Silver Ivory Productions).

It has been more than two months but the cast and crew have received any payments or reverts on the same. The problem of producers arguing internally is still continuing with the cast and crew being still not paid.

We also reported about the actors and the crew planning to protest against the producers.

Well, today in Versova, the unit members of the show including actor Zaan Khan along with others ended up at the producer's house regarding the non-payment issues.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar.com, Zaan said, “A lot of the cast and crew members are not in Mumbai. They left the city as it was difficult to survive here in a pandemic. However, whoever was available in Mumbai, joined us for the protest. What should I say, raaste pe lekar aagaye hai producers ney (They’ve landed us on roads)”.
