Srishti Arya’s show Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai has been in the making for the past two months. To begin with, the casting delayed the show and when everything fell in place the shoot started only to be halted for a few more weeks. Promos of the show too suddenly disappeared from the channel. It is said that it is now finally starting with new lead Priyamvada Kant by end of this month or early next month. “We had to reshoot a few episodes which we completed with Akangsha Kapil. Priyamvada who stepped in her place has started shooting with the cast. Apart from this, there is no major change in the cast or in the script. If all goes well then the show will launch soon. We might get the 9 pm slot but whether it will be a daily or a weekly we do not know,” our source says. The show is primarily made for the afternoon band of Colors. Ganga and Aise Karo Na Vida were launched on February 15 at 1.30 and 2 pm slot respectively. Thoda Hai was supposed to get the 2.30 pm slot then. Later it was pushed ahead due to IPL, now the show is ready to launch with enough number of bank episodes. Arya says, “My team is meeting the channel today, so hopefully things will get clearer by the end of the day. Our show is made for the afternoon slot but I have no information regarding the change in time. One thing I can surely tell you is that it will remain daily be it in the noon slot or prime time.” There has been lot of uncertainty about the channel’s strategy of reshuffling time slots of their various shows. The buzz is Swarg will wind up by end of May and Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam will take its time slot while new show Chand Jalne Laga might come in place of Yeh Pyaar.
