MUMBAI: Hina Khan is one of the most popular actresses who has worked in both films and television shows. Her talent has wowed fans and followers.

The diva became a household name after playing the role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She is considered one of the most-loved actresses on the small screen. The Kashmiri beauty played the role of docile bahu for seven long years in her hit daily soap. While TV stars are usually known by their character names, Hina managed to successfully break the bahu image by participating in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 11.

Although she lost to another TV bahu, Shilpa Shinde, in the grand finale of Bigg Boss 11, the small screen diva won the hearts of the viewers. Her journey in the show was full of ups and downs. She had made headlines while she was locked inside the BB 11 house. From claiming that Gauahar Khan had a lesser reach compared to her on social media to calling Sakshi Tanwar 'cross-eyed', Hina had several tongues wagging with her controversial statements in Bigg Boss 11. A video of Hina's remarks on other actresses had gone viral on the internet while she was participating in Bigg Boss 11.

Gauahar had expressed her displeasure over Hina Khan's remarks. She had posted a tweet to slam the Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 finalist for talking about her Twitter followers. The Bigg Boss 7 winner took a dig at Hina's 'mathematics' and said that people can't prosper with 'pride'. "Acchaii aur tameez toh seekhi nahi, math karna seekha hota toh aaj jhoote ghamand me aake kahi gayi baat pe log itna haste nahi..Lol!!! Allah sabko tarakki de.... Ameen!! Ghamand be aaj tak kisi ka kuch bhalaa nahi kiya.. sakshi tanwar u are beautiful," Gauahar had written on the micro-blogging site in November 2017.

However, both the divas shared a good equation when they entered the Bigg Boss 14 house as 'Toofani Seniors' along with late Sidharth Shukla in 2020.
