MUMBAI: Kapil Sharma is a name that doesn't need any introduction. The actor-comedian has been ruling several hearts for years now.

Comedy and Kapil Sharma are synonyms, and there's no doubt about it. Kapil has been tagged as the 'King of Comedy' and he has been living up to it.

Kapil rose to fame with his popular chat show Comedy Nights With Kapil, and since then, his career has been on a roll.

Fame comes with lots of responsibilities, which an artist has to live up to till he/she works.

Viewers have always been judgemental about celebs for various reasons. However, no one exactly knows what happens behind the camera and how these stars are in real life.

TellyChakkar got in touch with one of Kapil's teammates, Atul Pandey, who got candid about his journey with the comedian and much more.

Atul is the band manager who has been working with Kapil for many years now.

On being asked about his experience of working with Kapil, Atul was all praises for him.

Atul has been associated with Kapil and his show since 2015 and he said, ''Kapil is a very good and soulful singer, and luckily, and that's how we connected. Both of us belong to theatre and we are excellent in impromptu comedy.''

Atul, who is a drummer, also revealed that Kapil's show is the first and one of the rare comedy shows that has its own band.

We all have seen Kapil cracking jokes and interacting with the members of his band. Dinesh Kumar, who plays the guitar, is someone who Kapil has taken funny jibes at.

Revealing his working experience with Kapil, Atul said, "He is such a wonderful person to work with. Kapil is extremely down-to-earth, and we share a great rapport. Even after achieving so much stardom, he never had any attitude and always stayed grounded.''

Kapil is extremely fun-loving and notorious in real life as well, just like he is seen on camera.

Atul revealed that Kapil has always treated him like his own family regardless of whether they are working together.
