TMKOC actor Mayur Vakani and wife Hemali test Covid-19 positive, actor hospitalized

MUMBAI: Coronavirus situation is getting worse for all with each passing days. Actor who are now stepping to shoot for films and TV shows are also contracting the virus. 

Many Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manoj Bajpayee and others are in quarantine after testing positive for Coronavirus. 

Now, the news of Television actor Mayur Vakani, who essays the role of Jethalal's brother-in-law 'Sundarlal' in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma testing positive for COVID-19 has hit the headlines. It is his wife Hemali Vakani who also tested positive for COVID-19 revealed about the same.

In an interview, she stated that Mayur Vakani got hospitalised in Ahmedabad after testing positive for Coronavirus and she is in home quarantine. She was quoted saying, "He shot for a few episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and returned on March 7. A few days later he developed a few symptoms, but initially, we thought it could be because of travelling. However, after we did the test, his report came COVID-19 positive. Actually, thoda delay hogaya in getting the test done. He was admitted on March 11 at a hospital in Ahmedabad.".

Hemali then stated that both of them are doing fine now. "Now, we both are fine. As I am asymptomatic, I am in home quarantine. Mayur will undergo another test maybe by tomorrow and will be discharged in a day or two.".

Meanwhile, the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is keeping their audience entertained through their episodes.
