Star Plus’ new show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir has been much appreciated in its first week of launch. With Avinash Sachdev (Shlok) and Shrenu Parekh (Astha) playing the leads, two very popular faces – Tushar Dalvi and Prachee Shah are also seen in the show. Tuhsar who has been part of several big Marathi films and TV shows plays Astha’s father Avadhoot Gokhale. Prachee Shah, who has played pivotal roles in shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kayamath etc. plays Kalindi, Avadhoot’s wife and Astha’s mother. “I really like the concept of the show and I am extremely happy to be a part of it, the entire cast and crew have bonded really well. Set in Pune, the story of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir revolves around Shlok, a dynamic, handsome and an astute businessman and Astha a fun-loving, lively girl. If Shlok is a complete chauvinist and believes that a woman’s role should be confined to taking care of the home and family, Astha is a complete contrast to his stark personality; she believes in equality for both men and women and has a very progressive outlook to life.
