TV actors give their take on Bigg Boss season 12

MUMBAI: The latest season of Bigg Boss is here and our favourite TV actors tell us what they think about the show this time.

Saurabh Pandey: There are a few famous faces in this season of BB but I feel all the jodies and contestants will create an interesting atmosphere in the Bigg Boss house and can be interesting to watch. I usually watch Bigg Boss on weekends for Salman Khan. He sets things straight every week and is so interesting to see when he takes the case of some people for all the right reasons. My favourite part about all Bigg Boss seasons is the decor of the house.

Akashdeep: Bigg Boss is a big hit as usual. It’s too early to comment on participants as it takes time for them to grow on us. It’s an interesting mix of people. 9 pm is obviously going to do more TRP Primetime. But it also shows that normal. Soaps have stopped getting the numbers. People are running away from television in favour of Amazon and Netflix and the rest. In Bigg Boss, I like that Bihari singer. And Sreesanth is playing well as of now. I didn’t like the way the Anup Jalota and his friend were handled. Anup is a dear friend for decades and he didn't deserve this scrutiny. But when one agrees to be on the show and on such a huge platform, I guess this is bound to happen. All in all, it’s a good mix and let’s see how it moves ahead. It’s been years and people are coming more prepared so it’s that much tougher.

Romit  Raj: Bigg Boss has a following because of one reason and that’s Salman Khan. Salman Khan is there in Bigg Boss which makes it special... Salman interacts with the contestants and his sense of humour is amazing. Bigg Boss has a good well-known celebrity this time, I am sure they will add more names.

Gaurav Singh: This season, I love the beach-themed interiors, it is a feast to the eyes. This time the commoners in the house are paired up and they don't have the right to vote individually. This can be a disadvantage for them. Deepak is a natural entertainer and is my favourite so far. I think the time slot from 9 pm will lead to an increase in TRPs and since its family time then, the whole family can enjoy the show together. The popularity of the Bigg Boss can be easily guessed. It's because people like to gossip and are curious about what's happening in the other person's life. Plus, Bigg Boss is a distinct mix of people portraying raw emotions just like common people do.

Gulshan Nain: I actually don't like watching Bigg Boss, it has a lot of drama and unwanted controversies. I try keeping my self away from such shows. Although I have heard Bigg Boss format is different this time.

Ayyaz Ahmed: There's nothing new about it, they have started this jodi thing which is not working, at least for me. They have got people who have potential but so far it is boring. Somehow everybody is trying to be diplomatic and with time I guess it will get spicy. I started watching it last year because of Vikas Gupta and I am following it this year too. My favourite is Sreesanth because he is very unpredictable and maybe he needs to control his temper. I am a watcher who watches it on Voot it doesn't matter.
