Film actress Meghna Naidu is still getting used to the TV working pattern.

Yes, the actress who recently entered Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar as Vishkanya is still trying to adapt to the medium as she tells us, “Everything happens really fast here as the telecast happens every single day. It does get tiring for me as I am not used to shooting like this. Plus we are shooting in Karjat. We shoot here and have to also dub. Hence, catching up with everything does get difficult at times,” said the actress.

She further went on to add, “TV as a medium is time consuming. I remember when I came on the sets the first day they asked me to go through eight pages of dialogues and I was shocked. In films you say one dialogue at a time. But, here you also have to remember other people’s dialogues.”

So has her team helped her through all of this? “I have a very supportive team and a wonderful director. Santram (Verma) Sir has helped me a lot.”

Well, talking of Santram, his name has been pulled into quite a lot of controversies on the sets of Jodha Akbar! Hasn’t Meghna heard about any of it? “Yes, I have heard a few stories but I have also learnt from others that he is one of the best directors in the TV industry. He is pretty cool but at the same time is very strict when it comes to work. He is also disciplined. Maybe some people did not like this part of him, but I think that is exactly what has made me pull up my socks.”

Lastly, talking about her character she says, “When I had bagged this character I wasn’t very sure if I would be able to pull it off well but the response has been very positive on social networking sites. The audience loves my acting but hates my role as I keep creating trouble in Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) and Akbar’s (Rata Tokas) married life.”

Keep up the good work, Meghna!
