Nawaz uddin Sheikh who portrays the role of the father of the main lead Suman in Sony’s Jeet Jayenge Hum seems to be blessed. Apparently, the actor has already had a brush with death, twice on the sets. Once he was riding a scooter with Sana (Suman) on the back seat and the camera was placed on the truck which was riding in front of the scooter. The scene was done and Nawaz was asked to go ahead from the left side of the truck. He took the turn and saw a speeding truck approaching towards them, there was no place to move! A source informs, “Every one on the sets got cold feet and Nawaz looked lost. An assistant director rushed towards the scooter and pulled him back which helped Nawaz tilt towards the right side and move the scooter ahead. He and Sana closely escaped death and were completely shaken after the incident.” Sana says, “Yes, this happened and I just closed my eyes because I saw death coming. It was just a matter of seconds and I wasn’t sure we would survive. But we are really lucky.” The second incident has left Nawaz in immense pain as he has injured his rib cages. He was required to shoot in water where he lies unconscious on one of the rocks. While shooting he got hurt on his chest and ribs but at that time he did not realise how serious the injury was. Later the pain became unbearable and the doctor told him he had closely escaped injuring his lungs. Nawaz says, “I was shooting deep in water and was lying unconscious on one of the rocks. In the process I hurt my chest, initially I didn’t think much about it but the pain increased. I rushed to the doctor and have been on painkillers since then, but it’s still the same. I am in Jaisalmer shooting for a film, but I cannot concentrate on my work due to the pain.” Well, here again Nawaz was lucky because the double shooting for him injured himself very badly and could not tolerate the tides. Looks like keeping in with the title Nawaz was determined to win over death!
