Ulka Gupta created a rage with her dynamic acting histrionics as the young Jhansi (Manu) on Zee TV’s super popular historical show Jhansi Ki Rani. Since the show went off air, this young bundle of talent has been missing from the small screen. Fans have been craving to see her back on the tube. Well, it seems that their prayers have finally been answered as Ulka has been approached to act in DJ’s A Creative Unit’s upcoming show on Star Plus.
She will belong to the main family and will be very rebellious in nature. As reported earlier, the show is about a Punjabi family settled in Delhi. The plot revolves around a girl who will run way from home to marry her lover and later will get abandoned by her beau and return. The pilot for the show is expected to be shot soon.
When contacted Ulka, she confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have been approached for the role but I can’t comment much on it right now. All I can say is that I am very excited about it.”
