MUMBAI: The most loved and evergreen songs made, sung, and directed in Bollywood, were that of the ’90s. Perhaps, even some of the best songs known to the music industry were created in this era. To ensure that the spirit of the ’90s stays alive and pumping, Indian Idol season 12 proudly presents the 90’s Special Episode on Sony Entertainment Television. 

This special episode will have some of the legends in the music industry, they include Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, and Udit Narayan! The contestants are super excited to be performing amidst such icons of the music industry and to whom they grew up listening! Interestingly, this episode will be seen hosting a 90’s special battle between Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu, it also seems to be that the contestants have already chosen sides! All the girls will be seen on the side of Kumar Sanu and the boys with Alka Yagnik. 

The highlight and the theme for this 90’s special episode would be that it will cover over 100 songs in the episode, this itself speaks volumes of the coming excitement! 

This weekend would surely be one of the most sought after, as the contestants express their excitement saying, “We cannot wait to perform with Alka Ji, Kumar Sanu sir, and Udit Narayan Ji, what else could we ask for? Our preparations and practice for this episode are in full swing, we hope to deliver our level best for this one!” The three auspicious guests, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, and Alka Yagnik also hopped onto the bandwagon of the contestants saying, “The kids are supercharged for this epic USA special weekend and so are we! It will be a super fun evening and after long we three will be having some Jugalbandi between us and the contestants, can’t wait!”
