Vaishali Nazareth, better known as Menaka of Sahara One’s Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, is one lady who is not liked much by audiences as she doesn’t miss a chance of troubling Akash (Pankaj Tiwari) and Angana (Shreya Jha). But the actress is very happy with her on-screen image. “I love the character as it has different shades. Initially, Menaka was a glamorous girl, but now she is a small-time girl. I had to work on my language and look. I am glad that people are appreciating my role,” says the actress. You are seen seducing two men in the show. Doesn’t it get awkward at times? “Not one bit. Had I felt awkward about such things, I wouldn’t have been an actor.” Have you tried seducing somebody in real life? “Not for money at least (laughs). Yes, but when I had a boyfriend, I used to come up with creative ideas and that’s exactly what is helping me here.” Does it indicate that she is dating somebody? “I am very much single and I am game to mingle. But I just hope that my on-screen image does not scare the men (laughs).” Most of the girls would like going to go shopping in their free time, but Vaishali goes to the gym instead as she tells us, “I work out for at least three to three and a half hours a day that includes weights, cardio and stretches. I am a complete fitness freak and can spend hours together in a gym.” Apart from being a complete fitness girl, Vaishali is also a poet,” I love writing poetries; have written some romantic poetries.”
