MUMBAI: Rajan and Deepa Shahi’s Anupamaa has touched everyone's heart and the popularity is gaining new heights every day. One of the prime reasons for the success of the show is the unique chemistry of the lead pair being played by Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey. Interestingly, both of them hardly have any romantic scenes, but whenever the lead duo has scenes together the audience are glued to the screen. Speaking of which Rupali says,” Rajan is a master of casting and I have noticed all his shows have lead pairs with crackling chemistry. I get so many messages on a daily basis from people mentioning how much they love our chemistry. And recently there have been a lot of requests that there should be more romantic scenes between us. I feel there wouldn’t have been so much love for Anupamaa if Sudhanshu was not played by Vanraj. Vanraj's look and the way he is essaying the role is commendable. Touchwood our on and offscreen chemistry is very good. We know each other for quite some time now through some common friends. There is this unspoken understanding between us which is precious. It only enhances our scenes together. Apart from a good actor Sudhanshu is a superb human being as well. My late father used to say that even if an actor falters sometimes, he has to be a good human being always. And Sudhanshu is a nice and kind-hearted person. Our common passion is animals. We both love furry babies. He totally indulges me and I love having fun on the sets and making people happy. When you are leaving your kid at home and going to work, it should be worth it. We have fun on the set, have lunch together, crack jokes. I thoroughly enjoy going to Anupamaa’s set. The space is comfortable due to my costars and it’s a blessing. Alpana Buch, Paras Kalnawat, Sudhanshu Pandey, and I are inseparable on set and hope the love only grows with time.”
