Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Swastik Pictures' two shows, namely Phulwa on Colors and Navya on Star Plus, are doing really well when it comes to gaining the desired numbers. And the success story continues with their latest offering on Imagine TV, a unique quiz show titled Gyaan Guru. The series which is based on Indian culture is being talked about for its novel concept. Furthermore, the show had a unique winner recently. A veteran lady, Kusum Agarwal, from Bilaspur won Gyaan Guru Ka Padak five times and got five silver coins. After winning five times she didn't play any further as she wanted to take the five coins for her five grand children.

Actor Shakti Arora – who debuted with this show as an anchor – was quite surprised to witness the feat.

“Kusum was a stunner – epitome of knowledge. She is 71 year old and I was completely bowled over by her. With great confidence she answered the questions. She wanted to take the coins for her five grand children,” says Shakti.

Furthermore, Shakti shares with us on how he feels working with Swastik Pictures, “Siddharth Kumar Tewary is a fantastic producer. I had worked with him before in Agle Janam Mohe Betiyan Hi Kijo. When they approached me for Gyaan Guru I happily accepted the offer. I am happy that I debuted as an anchor with the show. I have been travelling to different cities like Indore, Jaipur and Lucknow and the response has been very good. It's the first of its kind show with quiz on rituals and lot of research has gone in making it.”

The particular episode featuring Kusum will be aired on Monday (20 February 2012).
