MUMBAI: Sony TV show Indian Idol is much loved for its concept and the talents it brings on the platform. 

The show is currently in its 12th season and the audience cannot have enough of watching the show. The show is judged by Sonu Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik. While Neha Kakkar was on the judging panel in the earlier season, the audience feels that the focus is much on Sonu's glam quotient in this season. The audience feel that there should be more of a connect with the audience. 

Karan Shah said, “Well, I feel that Sonu is a visual delight. She is quite inspiring when it comes to fashion and along with that, I feel she is not too dramatic which is a good thing. I like watching her.” 

Roopa Udeshi shared, “I think there is too much of focus on fashion. She should have a stronger connect with the audience too. Sonu is on the judging panel and she should be a little more focused on the contestants.”

Shweta Shah opined, “I too think that she does not have a strong connect with the audience and the makers and Sonu should work on that. That would make the show a more visually entertaining.”

Kate Fernandes believed, “Yes, I feel that there is more effort on glamming Sonu up that Indian Idol 12 being a show only about giving a platform to younger aspirants.”

Fenny Mehta expressed, “We want to see more of Sonu judging the contestants. No wonder she looks dazzling but then she should also work on establishing the connect by showcasing her humour among other shades to her personality.”

Jignesh Shah mentioned, “I do not agree. Sonu Kakkar is so beautiful and her being fashionable is also another way of inspiring all those who watch the show. The show is a singing reality show and if it has another feature to offer, why not! Also, I feel Sonu does a fantastic job sitting on the judging panel.”
