MUMBAI: There are thousands of actors who play supporting roles to the protagonists, give the film a new lease of credibility and are as, if not more, talented than the main leads. However, they do not receive as much fame and stardom as they deserve. In our Casting Call segment, we present a list of some of the most significant Indian television, web, and Bollywood actors who we hope eventually get their due in the future. 

We got in touch with actor Viineet Kumar, who has starred in popular shows such as Sabki Ladli Bebo, Maharana Pratap, and Anamika. Viineet is now enjoying marital bliss. After playing the lead in shows, and gaining appreciation for his work, the actor took a small break from work post his marriage and focused on his business but now plans to return on television.

Viineet mentioned, 'Well I have had a pretty good career before my break, and I am planning to return with a good project that will challenge my capabilities as an actor. It is not that I am looking at making a comeback with a run-of the-mill show or character, as in this industry, it is very easy to get stereotyped. I am also open to doing good web series if they come my way.'

When quizzed about whether he is facing any difficulties in making a comeback, Viineet quipped, 'Yes, it is difficult as even the leading characters you bag depend on your luck. There are times when you are almost signed for a character and later informed that the deal did not work out. So yes, there are difficulties, but a positive approach is very important. I am hopeful that I will get a chance to play a good role in a unique project.'

'But along with this, I would also like to add that for an actor, it is very important to have an alternate career or a business, as acting does not necessarily guarantee stability of work. If you have a back-up business, you can pursue your passion of acting more efficiently.'
