Viju Khote and Savita Malpekar to feature in the Maharashtra special episode of SAB TV's FIR

Viju Khote and Savita Malpekar

Edit II Productions has usually focused on solving the humorous police cases with Uttar Pradesh as the backdrop in SAB TV’s FIR. However, this time around, the show has taken a step ahead to reach out to the audience in Maharashtra by connecting with them at a personal level.

In an attempt to present its viewers something different, the production house has roped in veteran actors Viju Khote and Savita Malpekar for the show.

The trio of expert police officers – Chandramukhi Chautala, Gopi and Billu (Kavita Kaushik, Gopi Bhalla and Sandeep Anand) will be seen visiting a village in Maharashtra and solving a case of theft in a temple. While Viju Khote will be seen essaying the Village Head, Savita will essay the role of his wife.

Informs a source, “This is the first time that the show is focusing on Maharashtra. There would be two stories rolled out to provide a great viewing experience for fans of the show in Maharashtra. The production house has been making an attempt to focus on problems that different cities face. “

We tried contacting the producer, Sanjay Kohli and the cast of the show but they remained unavailable for comment.
