MUMBAI: After Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Bigg Boss fame Vikas Guppta made a series of videos spreading awareness about depression and mental illness. He went to an extent further and called out Parth Samthaan, Priyanka Sharma and Shilpa Shinde and stated that he won't step back from naming all those who made his life 'hell'. He also gave motivation to all those who are suffering in silence and asked them to come out and share. Seems like his motivating words did work for someone. A fan thanked him on social media for helping her overcome depression.

In a post made on Twitter, a fan of Vikas Guppta tweeted a long note sharing her story and how his videos helped her come out of the depression she faced post her divorce. In her story, she went on to mention how society shamed her as she had divorced a man whom she was married to for 15 years. While sharing her piece, the fan wrote, "You gave me hope to live my life again. Stay strong Vikas!! Lots of love & blessings #VikasGupta @lostboy54."

To this, Vikas Guppta responded saying, "Thankyou I needed to read this now." There seems to be a ray of hope finally in these dark times!

On the other side, Vikas Guppta who earned the tag of a mastermind with his clever stints in Bigg Boss also shared his coming out story on social media. He revealed to the world of his sexual preference and wrote a long note on Instagram talking about how his family had disowned him. He mentioned that only Karan Kundrra stood by his side despite knowing about his sexuality and rumors spreading around.
