Actress Vindhya Tiwary who is presently seen in Star Plus’ Phir Bhi Na Maane… Badtameez Dil is extremely elated with the rave reviews that her newly opened food joint has been getting from the Mumbaikers, especially the ones from the TV industry.

As we know, Vindhya has opened a food joint that caters to Mughlai cuisine, named ‘The Secret Recipe’ situated in the heart of Oshiwara, Mumbai. The yummy delicacies include the aromatic biryanis to the mouth-watering rolls.

Talking about her hard-core investment, Vindhya says, “It is always important for an actor to have a side business. I had been thinking of opening a restaurant for 2-3 years. For the past 10 years, I have been acquainted to a chef from Lucknow, who is very good at Lucknowi delicacies. Being a foodie myself and a very good cook, I wanted to add that different and missing flavour in the food dishes in Mumbai. We have two chefs in our outlet, one from Lucknow and the other from Kolkata.”

The Secret Recipe does not have a dine-in facility at the moment, but Vindhya has it as her future plan. “As of now, we offer home delivery to all places in Mumbai. We have a team of efficient delivery boys who can reach even Mira Road in half an hour.”

On the reason why she named it The Secret Recipe, the elegant actress explains, “Our food delicacies have a different spice and aroma which no restaurant can give in Mumbai. Hence, the name – The Secret Recipe. In fact, Anu Ranjan, the very famous industry personality ordered our food, and was extremely happy with the result. She gave us a 5 out of 5 rating for our food. We have seen a huge increase in our customer tally in the last few days, as there is a positive buzz all over. Trust me, if you have our rolls and biryanis, you will feel out of the world. I am sure we will get a word-to-word publicity in the days to come.”
