Maa Exchange this time will see Vindu Dara Singh and Bakthiyaar Irani’s wives swapping places. We hear the exchange did not go down well between both the families and there was a lot written about the Irani family. Some publications had also reported that the reality show had brought in some major problems between the relationship of Bakhtiyaar and Tanaaz and they were also headed for a split. Vindu’s wife Dina too had the worst experience of her life at Bakhtiyaar’s house as she says, “I got a completely different treatment there and I was counting days to get back home. Bakhtiyaar is an aggressive, abusive, short-tempered miser. It was my decision to be on the show and I was ready to take everything that would come my way but this was definitely not what I expected. My husband has never treated me the way Bakhtiyaar treated me in his house and I feel it’s because I refused to act for him. He had told me on the first day that we can act a bit on the show and I refused. I told him if you fight with me I will fight for real. I can’t fake things. He got aggressive because of this too. “I wanted to make a few changes in his house but he never wanted to spend money for anything. He wouldn’t even pay me for my coffee that I would have while I would go to drop his son at the kindergarten. He paid me on the first day that’s it and if the show had the permission of me spending from my wallet I would have. But, I wasn’t permitted to take money.” Vindu too isn’t very happy with the way his wife was treated by Bakhtiyaar as he says, “My wife’s experience was very bad on the show though I was in a better state with Tanaaz. Ours has not been a normal Maa Exchange… the show has turned into something else only because of a few incidents that took place in my absence.” When asked if Bakhtiyaar had created a scene at his place or during the shoot of the show, he says, “Nothing happened in front of me and I hope nothing is shown on-screen too. I am eagerly waiting for this episode to go on air for I want to know what happened. I wouldn’t want to talk about what that man has done. He seems to have carried baggage from Bigg Boss and Zor Ka Jhatka. I have forgotten everything but Pravesh (Rana) and Bakhtiyaar are two people who will never change.” On things being written on his closeness to Tanaaz he says, “She is like my sister and that is how I treated her.” Bakhtiyaar denied all the accusations heaped on him as he says, “If you mess with my family I can abuse you right now. I haven’t abused Dina in fact she did. I did tell her I would personally push her out of the house. The thing in India is that women can get away with everything. Nothing of whatever she has said has happened so I don’t need to give a clarification. She says I did not give her money if I have 230 bucks in my pocket and I give it to you will you use it all for coffee? What did she marry Vindu for? Money! A woman whose connection has been just with money will just want the same thing right and I did not want to give it to her.” Talking on reports of him having abused his wife physically while on the show he says, “It’s not true. I don’t even know where Vindu stays. My dad wasn’t well and he wanted to meet the two of us so I just wanted to make a phone call to Tanaaz but, the production people did not let me talk to her hence, I was shouting at the production team and yes finally they did let me meet her.” Talking about Dina having accused him of asking her to act on the show he says, “She makes a perfect pair with Vindu. No brain and too much brain. It’s a lie and the executive producer was with us he would have heard it too if I had said such a thing. It’s Vindu who lied and manipulated things in the Bigg Boss house. I have done 18 reality shows. I still have Vindu’s message and I can show them to you where he has told me that paise ke liye karna padta hai. If I am being paid it’s not for ‘fake’ reality.” On his relationship with his wife at present he says, “We are good together and when that article came up we were with some friends and we laughed about it.” Well, looks like both these couples have mastered the art of being ‘holier than thou’.
