She's back! The feisty lady who made the hard hitting, trend setting Tara for Zee back in the 1990s, is busy shooting her latest - a mega series called Mili that will premiere on Star Plus soon. This will be Vinta's big return to television after the long running Tara (remember Navneet Nishan as the gutsy protagonist?). The lady's however, not revealing more about the new series, nor about whether Navneet will form part of the cast. What she does talk excitedly about, when probed, is her feature film, ready for release around the end of October. White Noise incidentally is also set against the backdrop of the Indian television industry. The flick, which Vinta describes as a mainstream commercial film, has Koel Purie as a soap opera writer and Rahul Bose as a US returned guy, who helps Koel look at the quagmire she has got into objectively, and helps her get out of it. Knowing Vinta's previous trysts with the medium, White Noise will definitely be something to look forward to. Stay with us for more on Mili, too....
