MUMBAI: With hits like ‘Balam Pichkari’, ‘Main Pareshaan’ and the latest ‘Don’t be shy’, Shalmali adds another genre of music as a feather on her cap. The Bollywood hit machine has recently launched her latest Pop single, a melodic prowess titled Ruka- Ruka. The song portrays modern day relationships and taps the complications in communicating feelings online. Co-curated by Shalmali, Digvijay Singh Pariyar & Sunny MR, the song & video will be streaming exclusively on India's No. 1 music streaming app, Gaana and Big Bang Music’s YouTube channel. 

Taking to Instagram, vocalist and music composer Vishal Dadlani expressed his thoughts about the song, “I cried for a good ten minutes, from the bite of the words, the song and the video. Please give this song your love. It deserves it.”

Talking about Shalmali who has co- curated the song with Digvijay Singh Pariyar & Sunny MR, Dadlani said, “This is a song called #RukaRuka by Shalmali, who is one of the most talented, real, heartfelt and honest musicians I’ve ever known”. “Aparshakti is instantly real too, as always”, he added.
