It is interesting to know how actors gain popularity and buy their first ‘something’ from the money they earn. Vrinda Dawda made up her mind at the age of 20 that she will buy herself a car by the time she’s 23.
And guess what, her dream has come true!
An excited Vrinda informed us, “It is like a dream come true for me. I have bought a Nissan Micra for myself. I particularly bought an automatic car as it is stressful to keep pressing the clutch in traffic. It was important to buy a car as sometimes we shoot late and auto rickshaws are not available. Also when I go to parties, I would feel nice on getting down from my own car, thus making a good impression on people (laughs).”
Vrinda who has gained a lot of fan following through her show Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V, expresses that she had never thought that she would gain so much popularity and a strong fan base.
Said Vrinda, “Me and my family members were very excited and as soon as we bought the car, we went to Siddhivanyak temple where we prayed. I also treated my family dinner at a restaurant.”
“My elder brother has been my motivating factor. He bought a car and while I watched him buy at the age of 20 I made up my mind that I will too buy it in a span of 3 years. Well, let’s see if I can buy a property in a city like Mumbai,” she laughed off.
