Popular comic poetry show Waah Waah Kya Baat Hai airing on SAB TV has successfully completed 100 episodes. To celebrate the shoot, producer Asit Kumarr Modi (Neela Telefilms) invited Sunil Pal and SAB TV head Anuj Kapoor on the show. A huge cake was cut by Sunil Pal, Anuj Kapoor, Neha Mehta, Asit Kumarr Modi and Shailesh Lodha and the other poet guests on the sets.
With the theme of naya-purana this episode had young and senior poets having an entertaining and humorous poetic debate. It will telecast on Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 October at 9 pm.
Anchored by Shailesh Lodha & Neha K Mehta, Waah Waah Kyaa Baat Hai is a humorous hourly weekend show.
The concept of the show is loosely based on the old tradition of `Haasya Kavi Sammelan’. Produced under the banner of `Neela Telefilms’ by Asit Kumarr Modi, the show is telecast every Saturday & Sunday at 9pm on SAB TV.
“Today there is no platform to promote lyricists and poets. Writing and poetry are not given their due importance. Through this show we are trying to revive the interest in poetry, particularly in ‘haasya kavita’,” said Asit.
